Sponsoring the Summer Festival

The Petworth Festival has been referred to as ‘a jewel in the South Downs’ and we are proud of this status. For over forty years without a break, Covid years included, high quality festivals have taken place in Petworth. But quality comes at a price. In order to bring the highest quality artists to our part of the world and to run a year-round efficient organisation we have always relied on the support – and specifically sponsorship – from our local community, both individuals and corporate concerns alike. In this way we have been able to attract top classical, jazz and world music stars, comedians, theatre companies, family entertainers and the like – Mitsuko Uchida, Steven Isserlis, Willard White, Sheku Kanneh-Mason, Soumik Datta, Kathryn Tickell, Ronnie Scott’s Allstars, Joe Stilgoe, The Blues Band, Georgie Fame, Julian Clary, Paul Merton: all are recent Petworth alumni.

Our need for this support doesn’t go away. In fact, it grows. As our ambitions for the festival grow year-on-year and as we try ever harder to engage with the widest possible audiences we need support more than ever. But it isn’t a one-way track. Supporting events at the festival brings multiple rewards; practically in terms of priority booking, but much more than that. For corporate partners we offer access to our audience and multiple opportunities to develop your awareness and brand, and to our private supporters we offer the opportunity to join a family that brings wonderful art and performance to our area, and which also helps guarantee the quality of life we enjoy in West Sussex. The best of the international concert stage on your doorstep. We hope you will join our family!

Stewart Collins
Artistic Director

Thank you to our existing supporters for your extraordinary and loyal support over many years and we hope that individually and severally you stay with us for many more, whether as an individual or as a corporate supporter.

All sponsors receive benefits that range from our concierge style ticket booking service, through to receptions, entertaining opportunities, public recognition and acknowledgement
where required, and meetings with artists, all depending on the level of contribution.

If you would like information regarding sponsorship – whether the summer festival, literary week or both – please contact Stella Goodson stella@petworthfestival.org.uk or telephone 01798 343055.

Support for the Summer Festival starts at £500 and for the Literary Week from only £300.

A sincere and heartfelt thank you to all those who have already offered their support for the 2023 Summer Festival and June Edition
