An evening spent with Jay Rayner Sextet promises great music, killer stories and often quite inappropriate laughter.

Restaurant critic Jay Rayner is undoubtedly the best jazz pianist among the judges of BBC’s Masterchef, and in tandem with an ensemble of top-flight musicians he’ll be leading us through a blistering set of iconic tunes from jazz greats such as Herbie Hancock, Horace Silver and Dexter Gordon alongside song-writing legends including Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen and Joan Armatrading.
