The Festival Walk (Tillington)

Meet at The Cricket Pavilion, Tillington (GU28 9AF) 

This year’s Festival Walk led by Jonathan Golden will start in Tillington at the edge of Petworth Park.  The walk takes us through the Park and private paths of the Leconfield Estate towards Lurgashall, and back down to Tillington through River Common, with beautiful views of the surrounding area and the South Downs towards Midhurst. The terrain is gentle with some hills over this rewarding 7-mile walk. 

There is free parking outside the Cricket Pavilion and along the road, and it is a beautiful spot to have a picnic beforehand.  We will have access to the Cricket Pavilion for toilets and facilities from 1.30pm  and after the walk.

The walk itself is free, and will be on wet or fine!  Boots recommended. Dogs who don’t wander off are welcome.
