Kira Frolu is already regarded as one of the most notable Romanian pianists of her generation, having been named Young Artist of the Year by Radio Romania Muzical in 2022.

Born in Bucharest, Kira attended the Dinu Lipatti Music College before moving to London’s Purcell School and now the Royal Academy of Music. She has performed regularly as a soloist and chamber musician in her home country and is currently studying with Professor Tessa Nicholson. For Petworth she has devised a programme entitled Magic, Love and Fire – A Fantastic Journey.
