12:00pm Friday 19 July

Leconfield Hall, Petworth

Adults £13/18 & under £5

Formed in 2022, the Slate Quartet’s most notable concerts have included the Philharmonia Orchestra’s Insight day, Let Freedom Ring, playing an all-American programme in the Royal Festival Hall, and collaborating with composer Brett Dean to perform his Eclipse Quartet as part of the Composer in Residence programme at the Royal Academy of Music.

For the Festival’s lunchtime visit to the Leconfield Hall the quartet presents an American-themed programme pairing two major works from the string quartet repertoire alongside a delightful miniature by Florence Price.
