We were thrilled to welcome a previous iteration of this superb young ensemble in 2022, their concert  proving a genuine highlight of that year’s festival. For 2024 the stage will again be set for the latest cohort of brilliant young choral singers who have been working alongside Harry Christophers’ The Sixteen and who are set to become the next generation of the UK’s increasingly rich choral tradition.

Genesis Sixteen is The Sixteen’s free young artists’ training programme for 18-23 year olds, which aims to nurture the next generation of talented ensemble singers. The programme is generously funded by the Genesis Foundation. Many of its alumni have already had much success since graduating.

This concert is generously supported by Rick & Janeen Haythornthwaite
