Connaught Brass (classical)

A genuine treat at the 2023 Petworth Festival, we welcome back trumpeter Aaron Akugbo in the company of the four brass musicians who make up the superb Connaught Brass.

Winners of the First Prize at the Inaugural Philip Jones International Brass Ensemble Competition (2019) and the Royal Overseas League Mixed Ensemble Competition (2022), Connaught Brass’s music is described as ‘vibrant, spirited and bold’. A tremendous on-stage rapport shows the emphasis they place on their friendship with one another, quite apart from their dedication to varied and occasionally mischievous repertoire.
