We welcome one of the UK’s most loved violinists who gives one of her final concerts before retirement. In addition to countless live performances around the world, Tasmin has made over 40 commercial recordings, appeared on a huge quantity of television programmes, made documentaries for TV and radio, presented radio programmes, been the Artistic Director of two festivals, written countless articles for magazines and newspapers, and given something in the region of 1,000 interviews across all forms of media over a career spanning more than 30 years. In partnership with her regular collaborator pianist John Lenehan, she gives a programme that includes the fine Strauss Sonata for Violin and Piano, and their own joyous transcription of movements from Swan Lake.

Brahms - Sonatensatz (Scherzo in C minor from the F.A.E. Sonata)

Strauss - Sonata for Violin & Piano in E flat major Op. 18

Amy Beach - Invocation

Arr Lenehan/Little - Tchaikovskiana Concert Fantasy on themes from Swan Lake
