**Please note that in light of the current government restrictions, the audience for The Secret Garden will be capped at 300. You will be issued a yellow wrist band on arrival which will give you access to the performance.** Access will still be available to the Pleasure Garden (if the 300 capacity is reached) but you will not be able to attend the show.
“If you look the right way, you can see that the whole world is a garden.”
The Petworth Festival teams up with the National Trust for a second day to present a free, open-house event featuring This is My Theatre's performance of Frances Hodgson Burnett’s enchanting children’s tale, The Secret Garden.
A wonderful opportunity to enjoy Petworth Park and Pleasure Garden. Before and after the show, we welcome The Tree Fellas - two oversized trees and one sapling puppet who talk, walk, tease and misbehave, and all with their own story to tell.
The performance of The Secret Garden will begin at 2.00pm. The Treefellas will perform at 1.15pm and 3.15pm.
We recommend parking in town and entering the Pleasure Garden via the Cowyard entrance (GU28 0DE) open from 10am until 5pm
Town car parks: GU28 0AP or GU28 0ET
Link to PETWORTH TOWN MAP. The entrance to the Cowyard is off North Street beyond St Mary's Church.
Please note that entrance to the National Trust car park and Petworth House will be FREE over the weekend but there is limited capacity so entrance cannot be guaranteed.
Please bring your own picnics.
Light snacks, hot & cold drinks and ice cream will be available to purchase at the pop-up take-away kiosk and the indoor café (operating under current government guidance).
