In the fourth year of a relationship with the Royal Academy of Music the festival welcomes young pianist Bocheng Wang for the first of three lunchtime concerts.

Bocheng was born in Lanzhou, China and is currently studying piano with Professor Christopher Elton at the RAM. In June 2016, he was invited to play for a celebratory concert in honour of HM The Queen Elizabeth II’s 90th birthday and honoured to meet Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex. Most recently, he was one of the semi-finalists in the prestigious Santander International Piano competition.
