It is with regret that we have to let you know that Hao Zi Yoh is not able to play for us at this concert.

We are delighted that Royal Academy student, Cristian Sandrin, has accepted our invitation, at short notice, to perform at our Festival. Born to a family of Rumanian musicians, Cristian started to play the piano at the age of 6 with Marina Dragomirescu. He graduated the “Dinu Lipatti” Music College having worked with Cristian Dumitrescu and his own father, professor Sandu Sandrin. He is currently studying with Diana Ketler in the fourth year of the BMus programme at the Royal Academy of Music, holding the ABRSM Scholarship and the John S. Cohen Foundation Award. Among many future engagements he will give a solo recital at London’s Wigmore Hall in September.

Scarlatti - Two Piano Sonatas K119; K457
Haydn - Sonata in D major Hob XVI:19;
Schumann - Gesange der Fruhe op. 113;
Chopin - Barcarolle op. 60
Scriabin - Piano Sonata No 5 op.53

Your tickets are valid for this concert and we very much hope you will still support this young musician and we look forward to seeing you on 26 July at 12 noon. However, if for any reason, you’d prefer not to come, then we will give a full refund.
