An evening of quiet spectacle and music from an ancient tradition, Tasha Lhunpo Monastery is one of the most important monasteries in Tibet besides being the seat of the Panchen Lama. Sharing the platform with remarkable singer/musician Ngawang Lodup, monks from Tashi Lhunpo bring to a candlelit Easebourne Church their unique Tibetan culture, rites and special monastic traditions with formal dance, chants, dramatic costumes and unique instrumental sounds.

Ngawang Lodup presents traditional nomadic ballads and contemporary Tibetan folk songs performed on electric Mandolin & Dramnyen lute, coming as he does from long line of famous Nomadic singers. He has been performing across Europe for the last decade appearing at festivals in the UK, France, Belgium, Switzerland and Spain.

Pre-concert suppers are available at Cowdray Café & Farmshop. Pre-booking essential. Please ring: 01730 815152.
