Guitarist John Etheridge has been seen in many contexts: his duo with the great John Williams, various incarnations of Soft Machine, The Zappatistas, and Sweet Chorus, the quartet formed as a personal tribute to his former bandleader and mentor Stephane Grappelli, with whom he toured world-wide for five years.

What started off as a one-off concert band some 20 years ago has since performed countless UK and European concerts with three critically acclaimed albums.

Alongside John and the amazing violin of Chris Garrick - a relationship described as ‘one of the most potent in European jazz’ - the supergroup is propelled by the drive of fellow guitarist Dave Kelbie (ex of Django à la Créole) and bassist Andy Crowdy.
