Charlie Bigham – Supper with Charlie Bigham

The Literary Festival enters the world of the kitchen… After an English Literature degree, a stint as a management consultant and travelling round India in a campervan, Charlie Bigham founded his food business in 1996. It now operates out of two large kitchens in London and Somerset making a range of oven-ready food sold in more than 2,000 shops across the UK and eaten by 1 million keen cooks every week. 

He joins us both to talk about his staple recipes – including classics such as fish pie, chicken tikka and lasagne– and his hugely successful independent food brand.
