Piers Adams – blows
Adam Summerhayes – scrapes
Murray Grainger – bellows
Malcolm Creese – twangs
Cormac Byrne – bangs

A very special finale concert featuring a group of very remarkable virtuosi, not least ‘the world number one recorder genius’, Piers Adams, last encountered in Petworth with his ensemble, Red Priest. The explosive ‘Dodos’ combine unbelievable fiddle virtuosity from Adam Summerhayes; incredibly high-ABV insanity from accordion master, Murray Grainger; positively feverish power from bass legend, Malcolm Creese; dazzling bodhran playing from king of folk percussion, Cormac Byrne and, of course, Piers Adams himself.

The Dodo Street Band takes its audiences on a joyously wild musical odyssey, encompassing melodies from the shores of the Hebrides to the mountains of Eastern Europe, gypsy tunes and Eastern European rhythms spiralling faster and faster – there may even be dancing…

Tickets: £29, £21, £10, £6 (18 and under £5, FREE in adult £6 seats)
