A very special event featuring Hamish Hamilton’s filmed record of the V&A’s record breaking show - David Bowie is Happening Now and a Q&A session with the exhibition’s curators.

Described by The Times as “stylish & outrageous” and The Guardian as “a triumph”, the ‘David Bowie is’ exhibition was the fastest-selling in the V&A’s history, featuring a remarkable collection from the David Bowie Archive, including handwritten lyrics, original costumes, never-before seen film, music videos, Bowie’s own instruments and album artwork.

The film of the show received four stars in both The Guardian and The Times, and takes us on a journey through the exhibition, with special guests, including Jarvis Cocker, Jeremy Deller and Hanif Kureishi, giving expert insights into the creativity and evolution of Bowie’s ideas.

For the Q&A we’ll be joined by the V&A curators - local Lodsworth residents - Victoria Broackes and Geoffrey Marsh; copies of the beautifully produced book that accompanied the exhibition will also be available on the night.

Running Time 2 hours: Film 1hr 30mins, Live Q&A 30mins
There is no interval at this event.
