The EUCO gave its first concerts in 1981 and soon gained a worldwide reputation as a musical ambassador for the European Union. The ensemble – which comprises young professionals from across Europe and is led by Hans-Peter Hofman – has worked with many leading soloists including Mischa Maisky, Igor Oistrakh, James Galway, Ivo Pogorelich, Nicola Benedetti and Emma Johnson.

With 21 CDs to its credit for various labels (ASV, Hyperion, Koch and Naxos) they welcome the prodigious talents of recorder player Piers Adams, known to many as the outstanding front man of the early music ensemble, Red Priest.

Generously supported by Sir Geoffrey & Lady Pattie
