Literary Weekend - A success!

Dear All

A very warm vote of thanks to contributors, sponsors, volunteers, and audiences alike for everything that went into this year’s Literary Weekend. As ever there were stand out events, not least the festival’s first foray to the Rother College in Midhurst for Michael Palin’s fabulously entertaining event ’Travelling to Work’, but happily every single event has generated positive comment from our audiences.

I was personally delighted that the Winter Concert ‘Die Schoene Magelone’ and its top top cast was such a success: one of a gratifying number of sell outs over the weekend.

Please note the dates of next year’s events and of course consider becoming a Friend of the Festival as this will always help ensure that you get the quickest and best access to our increasingly popular series of events. And with that in mind I think I can promise a very stimulating, varied and top quality summer programme as of the time of writing, but otherwise we hope you winter well and look forward to being in touch about next July at the appointed time.

Sincerely Stewart Collins
